Newborn Photography Logo | Introducing Our Latest Design Project: Tiny Baby Studio Logo
Newborn Photography Logo | When Karen McGowran decided to re-brand her newborn photography into a standalone business to compliment her wedding photography, she turned to us looking for the perfect logo that would effectively convey her new brand. Having already been in the photography business, Karen knew what type of image she wanted for her new business, which made the design process that much easier. Thanks to her ideas and feedback throughout the design process, we ended up designing a logo that’s truly hers, from the color to the shape of the logo. We’re incredibly proud to introduce our latest design project: Tiny Baby Studio logo.
Building A Brand From Scratch | Newborn Photography Logo
A well-designed logo is the backbone of any successful brand. In order to truly stand out, you need a simple, memorable, and timeless logo that will appeal to your targeted audience. To reach the full potential and build a successful newborn photography business, Karen knew she had to separate it from her wedding business. We had to design something new parents would instantly recognize and relate to, be it online, in a mall, or on a business card. The end result is a sophisticated, versatile and unique logo that conveys the essence of Tiny Baby Studio.
Shape And The Color | Newborn Photography Logo
Karen’s initial idea was a round logo in bubble writing. We toyed around with the idea, researching and trying out different fonts to find the best one. The devil is, as they say, in the details. After choosing the font, we added three flower branches. We didn’t just threw in a random shape, we knew we needed a simple, subtle and soft graphic that’s appropriate for a newborn photography business.
It was only when we finished the basic design that we started thinking about color. We left color for the final stage of the process in order to make sure the logo would be usable even when the color is removed. Sure, a colorful logo may look amazing on a computer screen, but many logos lose all their charm and even functionality when used as a watermark, or printed in black, which was the last thing we wanted to happen. We tried a few shades of dark pink, Karen’s favorite color, and once we found the right one, we sent it off to Karen to hear her thoughts on it.
We thought about the characteristics of a great newborn photo and we designed the logo that perfectly compliments Karen’s style and branding. The end result is a beautiful, versatile, soft newborn photography logo that effectively communicates the essence of Tiny Baby Studio.
I decided to hire MediaNovak after seeing a friends logo that I really liked. I sent them my ideas but I actually preferred one of their original concepts over my own ideas! They really understood the look and feel I was trying to achieve and I am delighted with my new logo! I found the process to be really enjoyable and smooth and emails were answered very quickly… a big thumbs up from me! – Karen McGowran, photographer
